1. Definitions and contract documents

In these Terms & Conditions (which we may update from time to time, the "Terms"), "MoneyAskAI", "we", "us" and "our" mean the entity operating the Services identified on our website (for example on Contact or legal notices). "You" means anyone who accesses or uses the Services.

Your use of the Services constitutes your agreement to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms we publish on or through the Services, all of which are incorporated by reference. If you disagree, do not access or continue using the Services.

2. Changes, suspension, and evolution of the Services

We may enhance or replace features without guaranteeing continuity of any particular tool or layout. We may revise these Terms periodically without individual notice; the "Last revised" date above reflects the latest posting. Updated Terms take effect when published unless applicable law requires a different process. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance, except where fresh consent is legally required for specific processing.

We may suspend, limit, or terminate your access to the Services or delete your account at any time, with or without cause or notice, to protect users, partners, or our operations.

We may modify, remove, or discontinue any portion of the Services or any data displayed on them. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance.

3. Language precedence

These Terms may be published in multiple languages. If there is any inconsistency between the English version and a translation, the English version prevails to the extent permitted by law.

4. What the Services are (and are not)

MoneyAskAI offers informational tools to explore financial products that may match your stated preferences, including AI-assisted chat experiences and referral journeys to third-party providers ("Partners"). Unless expressly stated on the relevant workflow, we do not ourselves originate regulated loans, deposits, insurance contracts, or securities trades—Partners supply those products subject to their own onboarding.

Access to core consumer-facing features is typically provided without charging you a fee. We may earn fees, commissions, marketing allowances, or other remuneration when you click outbound links, submit expressions of interest, complete applications, or satisfy similar milestones Partners define with us. Compensation arrangements do not oblige us to favour any single issuer, though they may influence ranking logic alongside editorial criteria we disclose where material.

Nothing on the Services—including AI-generated responses—constitutes financial, investment, tax, legal, or insurance advice, nor an offer, solicitation, or recommendation binding us or any Partner to sell you a product. Materials are for general reference only.

Deciding whether to apply for or purchase any product remains exclusively yours. You must exercise independent judgment, seek professional advice when appropriate, and verify eligibility, pricing, rewards, fees, exclusions, and contractual wording directly with the Partner before you commit.

Submitting personal details through our flows does not mean a Partner has accepted your proposal; Partners retain sole discretion to approve or decline applications.

5. Contracts with Partners

Any binding agreement for a financial product exists solely between you and the relevant Partner under its terms. Review Partner disclosures carefully before proceeding; if anything conflicts with information surfaced via MoneyAskAI, the Partner's official documentation controls at the time you contract.

Certain offerings may be restricted to persons located in permitted jurisdictions who possess full legal capacity. Services are not aimed at minors or incapacitated persons, and no arrangement purportedly made by such persons will bind us.

6. Availability and operational realities

We strive to keep the Services online but do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or virus-free operation. The Services are supplied on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind except those that cannot be excluded under Hong Kong law.

7. Mobile access

If you use mobile networks, standard carrier data charges apply. Some capabilities may be unavailable depending on device class or carrier policies. By supplying a mobile number where prompted and not opting out where offered, you consent to transactional SMS or messaging relating to security or service delivery. Update your profile promptly if your number changes.

8. Permitted scope of use

You may use the Services only for lawful personal purposes or to procure products for yourself or an organisation you legitimately represent in a non-commercial capacity comparable to retail comparison behaviour. Any scraping, benchmarking for competing commercial datasets, resale of access, or large-scale automated harvesting without our written consent is prohibited.

9. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to, and not to assist anyone else to:

  • violate these Terms, our policies, or applicable laws;
  • harass, defraud, discriminate against, threaten, or abuse others, or upload content that is obscene, hateful, violent, or otherwise objectionable in our reasonable judgment;
  • misappropriate or infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or confidentiality rights;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent technical safeguards except where statute forbids such restriction;
  • burden our infrastructure disproportionately, disrupt networks, or deploy bots, spiders, harvesters, or similar automation except via documented APIs we expressly permit;
  • misrepresent identity or affiliation.

We may establish usage caps (storage quotas, API frequency, chat throughput). We assume no liability for deletion or failure to store communications or uploaded materials subject to those caps or ordinary maintenance.

10. Accounts, accuracy, User Content, and indemnity

Where registration is available, you must safeguard passwords and multifactor tokens. You are responsible for all activity conducted through your credentials unless we have materially failed to remedy a reported account takeover through no fault of yours.

Information you supply—including details about family members, colleagues, or beneficiaries where relevant—must be truthful and kept current. When providing third-party data you warrant authority and, where needed, informed consent consistent with our Privacy Policy.

Any materials you upload or transmit ("User Content") must be free of malware, accurate to your knowledge, and compliant with law. We may remove offending material, suspend accounts, or escalate illegal behaviour to authorities.

When Partners route payments through gateways (for example reward fulfilment or regulated premiums), you confirm you are authorised to use the nominated payment instrument and will honour that gateway's fees and authentication rules.

To the extent permitted by law, you indemnify and hold harmless MoneyAskAI, its affiliates, officers, staff, and contractors from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and reasonable legal expenses arising out of (i) your use or misuse of the Services, (ii) your breach of these Terms, (iii) infringement of third-party rights by your User Content or conduct, or (iv) disputes between you and any Partner.

11. Intellectual property

The Services, including software, visual design, datasets presented for browsing, trademarks, and explanatory copy ("MoneyAskAI Content"), are owned by us or our licensors. Except for temporary copies needed to browse, or statutory fair dealing, you may not copy, modify, distribute, publicly display, sell, or create derivative works without prior written permission. Any permitted printouts must retain attribution notices.

12. Licence to feedback

Suggestions, beta comments, bug reports, or other voluntary feedback you communicate to us are non-confidential. You grant MoneyAskAI a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use them for any purpose without obligation of credit or compensation, excluding Personal Data handled strictly under the Privacy Policy.

13. Limitation of liability

While we endeavour to correct obvious factual errors reported to us, we disclaim all warranties—express, implied, statutory, or otherwise—regarding accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, quiet enjoyment, or non-infringement of MoneyAskAI Content and Partner listings.

To the maximum extent permitted by Hong Kong law, neither MoneyAskAI nor its affiliates will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, nor for loss of profit, goodwill, data, or savings, arising from your reliance on AI outputs, rankings, editorial commentary, or inability to use the Services, whether grounded in contract, tort (including negligence), misrepresentation, strict liability, or otherwise, even if advised of such possibilities.

Products you obtain via Partners are theirs—not ours. We are not responsible for underwriting outcomes, servicing delays, regulatory suitability assessments Partners perform, or pricing disputes once you leave our controlled environment.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

14. Third-party links and framing

Hyperlinks to external sites are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse linked sites, monitor them continuously, or accept responsibility for their availability, security practices, advertising, or accuracy. Your dealings with third parties are solely between you and them.

15. Governing law and venue

The Services are operated with infrastructure connections consistent with our hosting arrangements (subject to change). These Terms and any non-contractual obligations connected with them are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong for disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you reside.

We cannot adjudicate complaints about Partner products on their behalf or admit liability for Partner conduct; please follow each Partner's published complaints procedure.

Privacy queries may also be directed to the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Hong Kong—see www.pcpd.org.hk.

Where a Partner is regulated (for example by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Insurance Authority, Securities and Futures Commission, or overseas counterparts), you may escalate matters through channels those regulators publish for the relevant sector.
